Introduction

Welcome to First Urban India Relocation Solution Pvt. Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By choosing our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. These terms outline our responsibilities and your obligations in relation to our packing and moving services.

Scope of Services

Our services include the transportation, packing, loading, unloading, and unpacking of household goods, office equipment, and vehicles. Any additional services outside this scope, such as removal and installation of air-conditioning units, geysers, or washing machines, are not included unless specifically requested and agreed upon in the quotation.

Society Permissions and Charges

• Society Permissions: It is your responsibility to obtain any permissions required from housing societies or authorities before the move.
• Entry/Exit and Lift Charges: Any charges imposed by your society for entry, exit, or lift usage are payable by you directly.

Third-Party Services

Our standard moving services do not cover third-party services, including the removal or installation of air conditioners, geysers, washing machines, or similar appliances. If you would like us to arrange for these services, please notify us in advance so we can include them in your quotation. Any additional material costs, such as copper wires, extra pipes, or gas refills for air conditioners, will be your responsibility.

Preparing Items for Moving

• We request that water be drained from storage geysers before packing begins to avoid damage during transit.
• Only empty LPG gas cylinders are accepted for transportation. Filled cylinders will not be transported under any circumstances for safety reasons.
• Live plants will be transported at the client’s risk. We are not liable for any loss or damage to live plants during transit.
• All transit bolts must be provided for front-loading washing machines prior to packing.

Risk Management and Insurance

Clients are advised to declare the value of their goods for risk management purposes at the time of packing. If no value is declared, it will be assumed to be zero. Please note that we do not cover internal damages in electronic items unless there are visible external signs of damage occurring during transit.

Storage Services

If storage services are required, please inform us in advance. Additional charges will apply for storage at our warehouses, and storage availability will depend on warehouse space at the time of request.

Packaging Materials

The materials used for packing, including cartons and wrapping materials, remain the property of First Urban India Relocation Solution Pvt. Ltd. and will be collected immediately after unpacking is completed. If you wish to retain cartons for an extended period, this must be agreed upon in advance.

Vehicle Preparation

• For two-wheelers, please ensure that the fuel tank is completely emptied before transportation to prevent spillage.
• For cars, a minimum of 10 liters of fuel should be available as some carriers may not be permitted within city limits at the origin or destination.

Booking and Cancellations

We require a minimum notice of three days for the mobilization of resources and scheduling of your move. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled move may incur cancellation fees. Please consult with our team if you need to reschedule or cancel your booking.

GST and Pricing Adjustments

• For personal household goods movement, the applicable GST rate is 0%.
• Should there be any adjustments in the volume or nature of goods after packing, the pricing will be revised accordingly.

Limitation of Liability

We strive to handle your goods with the utmost care. However, in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, strikes, or political disruptions, First Urban India Relocation Solution Pvt. Ltd. is not liable for any loss or damage. The client is advised to consider insurance coverage for high-value items to mitigate such risks.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. The latest version of the terms will be available on our website. By continuing to use our services after any changes, you agree to the revised terms.
